The Octo Podule is a derivative of the Wall16 with only eight illuminated push buttons. This variation has been introduced to fulfil a requirement of a number of universities who require a two gang panel to integrate alongside and/or replace products from other manufacturers.
As with the Wall16, the panel features two RS232 bi-directional ports as standard, two digital inputs and two open collector outputs for connection to external switches, PIR's, relays and indicators as well as PodNet for easy system expansion.
The OCTO PODULE also enables direct control over infra red devices using the optional WP-IRB ‘piggy back’ board.
Each OCTO PODULE comes with a sheet of button labels which can be fitted by removing the clear button caps (see here), or the customer can produce there own.
