PodNetIkons propriety control network. It is based upon the CAN ( Control Area Network) protocol utilising its high level of interference rejection and the ability to continually re-synchronise all connected devices. It also carries 24V DC system power. Messages are each given a number and whilst only one Podule should generate a message, multiple Podules can be assigned to receive it. Messages can contain Digital or Analogue values dependent upon the trigger used. PodNet used RJ45 sockets allowing the use of pre-made Cat5 patch cords that are of the ‘straight’ format, that’s wired pin to pin with no crossover. CAUTION |
